Kutcher's debut tonight with The Real Wedding Crashers - Apr 24, 2007
Ashton Kutcher, who has jumped from That '70s Show stardom to a producer of hidden-camera TV series, debuts tonight on NBC with The Real Wedding Crashers , which is a new show about jokes played bitterly on real weddings. Except the bride and groom nobody else is in the gag. Kutchers says recently during a call interview, "There's definitely an element of Punk'd (which is in its final season on MTV) in the show, in that we are pulling pranks,""In Punk'd, the big challenge is to pull off one prank on one individual. In this show, we pull off several of these stunts without anyone knowing that something's up, and we have to tie the story line together. "The thing about this show is, I think it has real heart. I think that anybody who's been to a wedding that's meant something to them, they get a chance to replay that feeling in this show."
